Privacy Policy

Effective March 16, 2026 · Last updated April 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Pulse Insights LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operating as RememberWith.AI ("Pulse Insights," "RememberWith," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our AI-powered family story capture service (the "Service"). We believe in being clear and specific about what we do with your data, especially because the stories you share with us are deeply personal.

SMS and Mobile Information — Important Disclosure No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of our services (e.g., customer service, billing, message delivery via Twilio) is permitted. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See Section 8 ("Phone Number and Communication Preferences") for complete SMS program details.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

1.2 Information Generated by the Service

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

2.1 Quality Review During Beta

During our beta period, members of the RememberWith team may review session transcripts and AI-generated content to evaluate and improve the quality of the AI interviewer. This review is conducted solely to improve the Service and is subject to internal access controls. We will update this section when the beta period ends.

2.2 What We Do NOT Do With Your Information

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 With Authorized Family Members

Stories captured through the Service are shared with authorized Family Members by default. This reflects the platform's purpose: preserving stories for family. The Storyteller can change any story's privacy at any time through the Service, making it private immediately. When the AI interviewer detects sensitive content during a conversation, it asks the Storyteller about sharing preferences before the session ends. If the Storyteller does not clearly confirm sharing a sensitive story, it defaults to private. See our Terms of Service, Section 6, for full details on privacy controls.

3.2 With Service Providers

We use third-party services to operate RememberWith. These providers are subcontractors processing your information solely to provide their services to us. They are not authorized to use your information for their own marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes:

Each provider's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies. We select providers whose API terms confirm they do not use customer data for model training.

3.3 In Response to Legal Process

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process. We will notify you of such requests unless we are legally prohibited from doing so. As described in our Terms of Service, there is no legal privilege protecting stories shared with our Service. Recordings and transcripts can be compelled through valid legal process.

3.4 Mandatory Reporting

If we become aware of information that appears to describe ongoing abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, we may be legally required to report it to appropriate authorities. We do not proactively monitor story content for criminal disclosures, but we cannot ignore information that comes to our attention and triggers a legal obligation. See our Terms of Service, Section 7.2, for more detail.

3.5 Business Transfers

If RememberWith is acquired, merges with another company, or undergoes a significant asset transfer, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on servers in the United States, operated by our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Cloudflare). If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

4.2 Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

4.3 Audio Recording Retention

Audio from phone sessions is processed in real time for transcription and is not retained after the session ends. We store only the resulting text transcript and extracted stories. In the future, we may retain a limited portion of recent audio (such as the final minutes of a session) for transcription accuracy verification and quality review, but any such retention will be short-term and clearly disclosed in an update to this policy.

4.4 No System Is Perfect

While we take security seriously, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Export Your Data

You have the right to request a complete copy of your data at any time. To request a data export, contact us at [email protected]. We will deliver your data in a standard, portable format within 30 days. Exports include transcripts, stories, narrative chapters, audio recordings (if retained), and account information.

5.2 Correct Your Data

You can edit stories, correct transcriptions, and update your profile information directly through the Service. For corrections you cannot make yourself, contact our support team.

5.3 Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion:

We may retain limited records (such as billing history) as required by law.

5.4 Control Sharing

Stories are shared with Family Members by default. You can change any story's privacy at any time through the Service. You can make any shared story private, and it will immediately become invisible to Family Members. You can also release private stories to your family whenever you choose. Only the Storyteller can change story privacy, regardless of who pays for the account.

5.5 Withdraw Consent

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can decline to answer any question during a phone session. You can end any call at any time. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (see Section 8.2).

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity before processing your request.

7. Children's Privacy

RememberWith is designed for adult storytellers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. Our Service captures stories told by adults about their lives, which may naturally include memories from childhood or stories about children. These stories are the adult Storyteller's own recollections and do not constitute collection of information from minors.

If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly in accordance with COPPA.

8. Phone Number and Communication Preferences
